Drive it – Jaguar XK
The new Jaguar XK, with its exhilarating lines and lightweight aluminum body, is an innovative combination of advanced technology, refined power, dramatic styling and pure luxury. The model’s body structure was developed using techniques established by the aerospace industry, making it not only strong and remarkably rigid but also exceptionally light, allowing it to stop more quickly, use less fuel and essentially making it a safer vehicle to drive.
This lavish new model is equipped with a host of state-of-the-art advanced technologies, each designed to support the driver and enhance the driving experience. These include the Driver Information Centre, a highly intuitive Touch Screen control system, Satellite Navigation, and Adaptive Cruise Control.
The XK’s extensive range of intelligent safety features – including Jaguar’s Adaptive Restraint Technology System, a new Performance Braking System, Intelligent Lighting and Active Speed Limiter control – have been designed to optimize driver control in difficult conditions as well as to provide high levels of occupant protection.
Spacious and beautifully crafted, from the sumptuous leather and fine detailed stitching to the intuitive driver-focused controls, this stylish new vehicle promises a unique and luxurious experience.
Both coupe and convertible offer the space, flexibility and convenience of 2+2 seating configuration. Also, each model features a 4.2 litre V8 engine, ensuring invigorating performance and impeccable handling.
Each Jaguar model is rigorously tested to ensure optimum performance in extreme weather conditions. The Jaguar XK’s driveability and reliability were put to the test during hundreds of laps through the 73 corners of the former Formula One circuit at Nürburgring in Germany.
