If someone were to ask you to define La Dolce Vita, the good life, how would you describe it? Would your reply be to look young, have wealth and embark on exotic vacation experiences, or to feel the hair-raising experience of driving a new 612 Scaglietti Ferrari?
Would it be to taste the rare sweetness of Louis XIII, dubbed the Black Pearl Magnum, while in the view of all the action during the Monaco Grand Prix from the Hotel Metropole? Or perhaps, it would be to succumb to a relaxing massage inside the Bulgari Spa with its breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean. Possibly, your definition of La Dolce Vita is a paradigm of a different kind. Like to have the freedom to do absolutely nothing, except share a hearty laugh, and a strong espresso with a dear friend. To snuggle with your kids at night while reading a bedtime story. To receive flowers unexpectedly, as a thank you for your selfless acts towards someone, and thus being the one to bring a bit of the good life in someone else’s life. Or ponder about the universe and your role in it as you become speechless at the sight of a sunset. As you can see, there is no singular true definition for La Dolce Vita. For all the above definitions are surely excerpts of someone’s idea of what living the good life means to them.
Our quest to write about stories, people and places that define La Dolce Vita in a magazine began over a decade ago. What began as a dream of two siblings’ passion to share such precious findings with readers in one community, later flourished and proved to capture the interest of readers around the world.
It is with each and every issue that we continue to keep our original quest of bringing inspirations of La Dolce Vita to readers everywhere, and the final result is anything but predictable. The exquisiteness of our work comes from the privilege of seeking out fascinating individuals to share their stories with us, for they have mastered the art of living the good life and thus inspire others to pursue their lead. Along with these stimulating stories, we investigate the hottest fashion trends, the latest gadgets, the most sought- after restaurants, the best cars, and the most exclusive, luxury destinations that will entice you too to go aboard your own journey to discover your personal Dolce Vita.
So go on, and explore all that the world has to offer. For life is like a white canvas, and the colours you select to paint your life’s masterpiece are as unique and as personal as your definition to living La Dolce Vita.
